Wild Herb Liqueur
Creating liqueurs and amari from the land around which you live is an age old practice. The idea is to create a delicious liqueur to accompany the food on your table, made from foraging botanicals - herbs, citrus, fruits and plant roots growing nearby. If the place offers up plants that grow abundantly well, and they are used to flavour the food which is also eaten, then the epicurean experience will be full and complete! When drinks compliment the food, it's a heavenly experience; it makes sense on the palate and it is very enjoyable to have a meal in this fashion.
Tasting Notes:
This Wild Herb Liqueur is bright lime green in colour, as nature is showing off the natural beauty in chlorophyll pigments from green leafy plants. Pine - lime splice notes float out of the glass and a shimmer of pink peppercorn spice, with a creamy soda, sherbet- like palate full of rosemary, thyme and bay leaf spice, and rich earthy bitterness beneath. A lovely long but lightly refreshing finish, leaving the palate refreshed and ready for another sip!
