Aromatic Bitters
A refined blend of 21 local organically grown and foraged botanicals:
Earthy gentian root and orange rind, bay leaves, a selection of flowers, pink peppercorns and fresh rosemary, all carefully macerated in grape spirit for three years to unlock bright citrus, gentle bitterness and delicate floral notes.
This careful maturation releases rich essential oils and fosters a mellow, complex flavour profile that captures the very essence of South Australia’s gardens and farms. Diluted to 40% ABV, our bitters remain fresh, preserve their gut-health benefits, and deliver flavour directly into your glass.
Alcoholic or Non-Alcoholic?
Bitters are made using alcohol to extract the botanical oils, to create the complex flavours and keep the bitters ‘fresh’. However, because only a few drops are used when added to sparkling water or a non-alcoholic cocktail, it is not considered alcoholic in this diluted form. Obviously, if added to an alcoholic cocktail, then the final beverage creation will be alcoholic.
Serving Suggestions
- Non-Alcoholic Serves: Add 20–30 drops to a 150 mL glass of sparkling water for a delicious, digestive-friendly tonic.
- Cocktails: Use just 3–5 drops to bring elegant depth and balance to your favourite mixed drink.
